Emilio Titos will retire and leave the management of the Mercedes plant in Vitoria on January 1 after more than 40 years at the helm of the largest company in the Basque Countrywith about 5000 direct workers.

In an internal circular made public this Friday, the company announces that the current CEO will enjoy from next year his “deserved retirement” and announces that he will report “as soon as possible” who will be his successor.
