TAP Executive Chairman (CEO) Luis Rodriguez said on Monday that he would not allow political interference in the board of directors, noting that the past of the company does not concern him.
When asked by journalists, Luis Rodriguez said that he would “definitely” maintain the “flag” of preventing political interference in his companies in the future, as he did in the leadership of SATA.
“The companies are not mine, they are state-owned. But [sim]: no interference in the boards of directors of companies,” he said.
The CEO of TAP spoke to reporters in Ponta Delgada after an open class on the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Azores.
Insisting on not answering questions about TAP, the manager declined to compare the national airline’s situation to that of SATA, as they are “completely different things,” nor did he want to comment on the impact of the inquiry committee on TAP. prestige.
