ELA and LAB have convened assemblies for the staff to vote on whether to accept the latest proposal from the Basque Government. The offer proposes a salary increase of 13%, which would mean the remuneration equalization with the rest of the official staff.
Unions ALS and LAB have left strike suspended that had started almost a month ago among the staff of Justice administration of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV). The plants have announced that yesterday they received a “very interesting” proposal from the Basque Government that could put an end to this strike.
Thus, both unions have convened paths assemblies this Wednesday (2:00 p.m., in the three capitals) to submit the text to vote.
As reported by the representative of ELA, Alex Agote, the Basque Government’s offer poses a salary increase of 13% for all Justice personnel, in such a way that it will mean the pay equalization with the rest of the officials of the General Administration in Euskadi, one of the demands of the staff. In addition, they would not affect other rights acquired by the group.
Exhaust has been “optimistic” that this approach of the Executive can be supported in the assemblies because “it is very good”, and that an agreement can be signed.
