The ELA, LAB and Steilas unions have called a strike in public education in the CAV for tomorrow, Wednesday, and December 14, to reject the draft of the draft Education Law and bet on a “public, Euskaldun and own” school “. For this reason, the Basque Government has established some minimum services.
For the strike, which affects “the framework of the nursery school system of the Haurreskolak Consortium of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and of the public non-university educational centers of the Department of Education of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa”, the Department of Labor and Employment has resolved, in the first place, that “to guarantee control of access to the residences, in all the centers affected by the strike, in each center and in each assigned building, there will be a member of the management team, and a staff of the subordinate body for the morning shift, and another for the afternoon shift, if any”.
In the Haurreskolak Consortium, to guarantee access control to nursery schools, there will be a coordinator from each center or his substitute, and to guarantee protection and health, a teacher will be added by educational stage (Infant, Primary, ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training).
In addition, in the 1st and 2nd cycle stages of Early Childhood Education (including Haurreskolak) and Primary Education, a teacher must be incorporated for every 100 students enrolled in each stage (more than 200 students, another teacher, and so on each time exceed 100 students).
Finally, in the Special Education centers or in the stable Special Education classrooms, there will be 50% of the regular classroom staff.
