Norman Bassett, the 18-year-old winger, is Porto’s target for the new season.
Who guarantees this is the newspaper “L’Equipe”, which reports that the dragons have already submitted an offer to Kahn, the emblem of the French second division where the Belgian player is lining up. According to the same publication, the goal of dragons is to hire an attacker and then borrow him. Another possibility is that Bassett could be integrated into the B team to accompany them and start the process of adapting to our country.
Bassett made 22 appearances last season and scored six goals for the Caen. His market value is estimated at 500,000 euros and he has been in Caen since 2020, when he was hired from the Belgian company Eupen.
In the meantime, most of the white and blue went on vacation this Wednesday, a few days after winning the Portuguese Cup.
The date has yet to be announced, but it is known that Porto, with or without coach Sergio Conceição, will start work at Olival in the first week of July.
