The courage of Henri, a 24-year-old Catholic student, during the attack in Annecy, France, did not go unnoticed. A young man with a backpack on his back and another on his chest tried several times to intervene during the attack to stop the attacker.
In accordance with Le Figaro and watching some videos of that moment, you can see a man with a backpack facing the aggressor. The young man managed to avoid being stabbed and still prevent the attacker from returning to the playground.
Henri set out on a journey about two and a half months ago to discover the cathedrals of France. Before the attack, a student shared a story on Facebook that showed Lake Annecy.
In accordance with Le Parisienabout an hour later, the young man shared another image of fire trucks asking for “unity in prayer for the victims” of the playground attack.
Henri has a degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in management. His journey began on March 27 at the monastery of La Barra, and Annecy, where the tragedy occurred, became one of his stops.
