The body of a 73-year-old woman was found in the house where she lived, on Rua do Regil, in Almada, with signs of death from the use of knives.
PSP official source confirmed cm that the warning was filed at 10:36 p.m. Friday by family members who found the woman’s absence odd.
PSP called firefighters, who broke down the door of the victim’s home.
She was found inside already dead, with several signs of aggression with a knife.
The woman lived with another family member whose whereabouts are currently unknown.
Firefighters from Cacilhas and Almada were on site, in addition to PSP funds.
The Setubal Judicial Police took over the investigation and the body of the 73-year-old woman was not taken to the mortuary of the García de Orta hospital until 2:30 am this Saturday.
