Vila Nova de Cerveira and GNR firefighters resumed this Friday the search for a 54-year-old woman who has been missing since Thursday at 13:00, a police source said.
Viana do Castelo, a GNA territorial command source, said the woman’s husband reported the woman’s disappearance to the authorities on Thursday at 13:00.
“The lady left the house and did not return,” the source said.
The missing woman lives in Mata Velha, Loivo district, Vila Nova de Cerveira municipality, Viana do Castelo district.
The same source added that “the searches were launched after the husband’s warning.”
Today, the operation was resumed near the house, the circumstances of the disappearance are still unknown.
The operation involved eight operators and three vehicles of volunteer firefighters Vila Nova de Cerveira and GNR.
