Arabs attack Sporting to take captain Coates

Sebastian Coates is on the radar of three clubs in Saudi Arabia: champion Al Ittihad under coach Nuno Espirito Santo, Al Nasr under Ronaldo and Al Hilal.

The 32-year-old Sporting captain will enter the last year of his contract and is considered an important player for Ruben Amorim. However, a possible Arab offer could see the management of Frederico Varandas sell and receive some financial income from the player, who has been in Alvalada since 2015.

The Uruguayan footballer earns 1.5 million euros a year at Sporting. Offers coming from Arabs far exceed this value, so the figures presented by the three main clubs in Saudi Arabia may be available in the center.

In the lion squad there are alternatives to the South American one: St. Juste, Gonzalo Inacio, Diomande, Matheus Reis and Neto (to be renewed soon).

Sebastian Coates recently announced that he intends to end his career in his country, and more precisely in Nacional de Montevideo, the club where he started playing.

Tunisian midfielder noted
Eles Skiri, the Tunisian midfielder whose contract with Cologne has expired, has been assigned to Sporting CP. The 28-year-old has traits that the structure likes but is still not a priority target. Lyon and Sevilla also follow the midfielder.

Morita promises more for 2023/24
“2022/23 is over! Thank you for fighting with us all season. Your support has helped me. Next season I will make a leap forward,” wrote the Japanese midfielder Morita in social networks.
