Three men aged 18 to 42 were arrested for drug trafficking in the municipality of Viseu, two of them are in custody, GNR reported this Wednesday.
The GNR statement explained that “as part of the investigation into the drug trafficking case, which lasted for about three months, four house searches and three vehicle searches were carried out.”
As a result of the searches, three cars, 2980 euros, 266 doses of hashish, 1.7 grams of marijuana, 14 doses of heroin and 16 doses of cocaine were seized.
According to the GNR, two guns, a copy of a firearm, a baton, a signal weapon, four cold guns, an electric weapon and brass knuckles, as well as two batons, four cartridges and ammunition were also seized.
The seized list also includes four precise scales, four bicycles, three scooters, seven laptops, 46 hours, 22 mobile phones, three “tablets”, an LCD monitor, two radio monitors and a car GPS, seven car GPS and various utensils. drug packaging.
On Wednesday, the three detainees were taken to the Viseu Court, which ordered preventive detention for two of them. The third was required to periodically appear at the police station.
The GNR said that “as part of the same process between November 2022 and March 2023, three men have already been arrested” and one of them has also been placed under coercive restraint.
