The Judicial Police (JP) detained a man suspected of co-authorship of the crime of qualified murder in the form of attempt and crime against qualified physical integrity near a nightclub in Fafa.
The SP statement says that the facts refer to the early morning of May 29, 2022 and occurred after a misunderstanding began inside the disco between the group that included the detainee and the group that included the victims.
“Already on the public road, there was a physical confrontation between different players, as a result of which three victims received minor injuries, and the third was seriously injured, who was hospitalized in a restrained state,” the report said.
At that time, says the joint venture, it was possible to identify the entire group of the aggressor and detain some of its elements.
However, the now arrested man managed to escape, presumably to the Netherlands.
Returning to Portugal, where an international and national arrest warrant was pending for him, he was located and arrested in the Lisbon area.
The 36-year-old suspect will be presented to the competent judicial authorities at the Court of Guimarães for the first judicial questioning and application of coercive measures.
