The death of Oscar-winning British actor Julian Sands was confirmed on Tuesday, five months after he disappeared while walking in the mountains near Los Angeles, authorities said, citing Reuters.
Most of the remains found on Saturday were identified by the San Bernardino County coroner as those of the actor, who went missing on the night of January 13. The artist could not be contacted after hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains, Mount San Antonio, north of Los Angeles, he was hit by severe storms during the winter.
The Briton participated in such series as “24”, “Dexter” or “Secrets of Smallville”.
