If that happens, Jorge Jesus will be making €10m a season, making him the highest paid coach in the world, stealing the seat from German coach Hansi Flick, who currently earns around €7.5m a season.
Jorge Jesus, who is in charge of Saudi Arabia, will aim to prepare the team for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States.
Jesus will also be included in the list of the ten highest paid coaches in the world. The Portuguese salary will be very close to the amount that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti earns, who receives about 11 million euros per season.
