IMT will send messages reminding drivers to renew their driver’s license.

The Institute for Mobility and Transportation (IMT) announced this Wednesday that it will launch a “direct call service” from Thursday for drivers with an expired or expiring driver’s license.

IMT said in a statement that the alert will be made primarily to drivers with the passenger car category via SMS, email and postal service.

The content of the message will be adapted to the duration of each driver’s license and will be sent out gradually starting in December.

According to IMT, the purpose of this change is to continuously improve the “services provided to drivers”, which is the “first step”. to develop an automated driver’s license renewal system.
