Pilgrims registered for World Youth Day (WYD) in Lisbon in 2023 will be able to find out their carbon footprint using a calculator that will be available in the meeting app, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The calculator, developed by Novo Verde and ERP Portugal, which manage packaging waste and waste electrical and electronic equipment, “takes into account the activities carried out from the moment of departure until the last day of the journey.”
