Three people were killed and eight injured in a shooting near Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday morning, Reuters reported.
The warning was given shortly before midnight, a few hours after the US Independence Day celebration, in a parking lot. One of the victims was pronounced dead on the spot, the other two died in the hospital.
“We don’t know if this is a domestic case or if it is gang related. It’s too early to tell,” said Sean Murray, a senior Fort Worth Police Department official.
The United States has experienced a large number of shootings and incidents of firearms. According to the Archive of Gun Violence, there have been more than 340 mass shootings in the country this year (when four or more people are shot).
