Dutchman Max Verstappen took his fifth consecutive pole position this Saturday, setting the fastest time in qualifying for the British Grand Prix.
The leader of the World Championship at Red Bull confirmed what was expected, but he had to sweat to the end, as it was the unexpected Lando Norris who was in the lead in the last moments. However, the Dutchman’s cannon time of 1:26.720 put the English in second position, which nevertheless proved to be a very famous result for the Woking team.
Moreover, the next in the list of times was Oscar Piastri, who from 3rd place managed to make the best qualification in his career. Next to him on the second row of the grid on Sunday will be Charles Leclerc, the best of Ferrari. Then Carlos Sainz (5th) and George Russell (6th) appear in the third.
The big disappointment of the day was once again Checo Pérez, who was out of Q3 for the fifth time. The Mexican did not go further than 16th position.
