Five people, namely four men and one woman, aged between 22 and 39, were arrested by the GNA in Albufeira for several violent assaults and crimes of extortion, threats, violation of physical integrity and drug trafficking.
The group stole several gold items, which were eventually returned with violence. The attackers beat the victims to drop the charges. The five aggressors also created confusion in several enterprises and demanded that their partners stop.
Searches took place on Friday, and after a major operation that had already been underway for three months by the Albufeira Criminal Investigation Core, a nine-millimeter firearm and related ammunition were found, as well as five thousand doses of cocaine, cannabis and hashish.
