Altice Group Confirms Company Searches and Launches Internal Investigation

This Thursday, Altice Portugal confirmed that it had been searched as part of an ongoing investigation targeting individuals and entities outside the Altice group. The statement said that an internal investigation has already been launched related to the purchase processes and the processes of acquiring and selling real estate in Altice Portugal, as well as the entire Altice group.

Altice Portugal states that it is ready to cooperate with the investigation conducted by the State Ministry.

While the investigation is ongoing, Altice Group has already given instructions to suspend any payments to target entities and any new purchase order with those entities, in addition to wanting to “strengthen the Group’s approval process with respect to any purchase order.”
