Portugal are looking to win their second UEFA European Under-19 Football title this Sunday, again in the final against Italy, in a match scheduled for 21:00 local time (20:00 in Lisbon).
The Kinas team under Joaquim Milleiro will face the Italian team, who defeated 5-1 in the second round of Group A, and the only Portuguese title opponent in the 2018 final.
The Under-19 Euro is being held for the 20th time, at a level preceded by the European Under-18 Championships (1981–2001), the UEFA Youth Tournament (1955–1989) and the FIFA Youth Tournament (1948–1954). .
In total, Portugal has four titles with wins in 1961, 1994, 1999 and 2018, the last in a generation with Francisco Trincao, Jota, Florentino, Ruben Vinagre, David Carmo or Thierry Correia.
The final is scheduled for 21:00 local time (20:00 Lisbon) at the Ta’Kali National Stadium in La Valletta, Malta and will be refereed by Germany’s Sven Jablonski.
