On Monday, the GNR arrested six people in Castelo Branco during an operation targeting nightclubs and seized drugs, firearms and a car.
In a statement released this Monday, the National Republican Guard (GNR) Territorial Command of Castelo Branco says that Operation Noite + Segura included several inspection activities throughout its area of responsibility.
According to this security service, as a result of the operation, six people were detained for drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, drunk driving and without a license, and forgery of technical documents.
During the operation, the HNR fighters also seized “a pistol of 6.35 mm caliber. [milímetros]six rounds of 6.35 mm caliber, 29 doses of hashish, 2960 euros in cash and a car.”
