The routes established by the European Union (EU) to transport grains from Ukraine since the invasion of Russia began have allowed the export of about 41 million tons of agri-food products.
According to information provided this Wednesday by the European Commission, since the beginning of the war, at the end of February last year, the equivalent of 60% of Ukrainian grains, seeds and other agricultural products have been exported via the routes created by the EU. -Food.
The remaining 40% was tied to an agreement to transport grain across the Black Sea, which has been put on hold since Monday after the Kremlin refused to renew it, claiming some parameters set to allow exports were not met.
At the same time, the channels opened by the European Union have made it possible to transport 36 million tons of raw materials such as iron, steel and timber, bringing more than 33 billion euros in income to Ukrainian entrepreneurs and farmers.
