Leandro Vultos and Ricardo Cochicho were sentenced to 17 and 15 years and four months in prison respectively for the murder of Lucas Miranda.
Recall that Leandro Vultos and Ricardo Cochicho, aged 17 and 18, were charged by the State Ministry of Setúbal with the crimes of qualified murder and desecration of the corpse of another young man who died in October 2020 after escaping from the reception center where he was institutionalized, along with the murders.
According to the indictment, the defendants are responsible for the death of the victim (who died at the age of only 15 due to strangulation from behind by two defendants who subsequently hung the body from a tree), as well as for concealing the body. The remains of Lucas Miranda, who died, were found five months ago at the bottom of a dry well on the outskirts of Setúbal.
