The Public Security Police (PSP) last Thursday arrested a man on suspicion of domestic violence in the parish of Marvil in Lisbon.
The victim, the wife of the suspect, was taken from the house by PSP officers and taken to the police station, where she filed a criminal complaint. The 46-year-old suspect denied using domestic violence against the woman, but was hostile towards the two children and declared his intention to kick them out of the house.
The police warned the suspect that the abuse of children who live and study in the same house as the aggressor is another crime of domestic violence. Upon learning of this, the man began to attack his son and was immediately stopped by agents.
Now the detainee was present at the judicial interrogation, where coercive measures were applied to him in the form of prohibiting contact with the victim and removing him.
