The CC unions. OO., USO and UGT of Aena have made a strike notice in the Hego Euskal Herria airports for these next Christmas. The strike, which would be called at all airports in the Spanish State, depends on whether or not Aena offers a response to amounts owed to the workers since 2018; in case of no responsethe days December 16, 17, 22 and 23 and January 6 and 8 there would be stoppages between 08:00 and 00:00while on December 31 the strike would last 24 hours.
The president of the Loiu Airport Works Council, José Manuel Lorenzo, has confirmed to EITB Media that the call would affect approximately 170 professionals from the Bilbao aerodrome, although he trusts that Aena “reconsiders”, so that it is not necessary to reach the strike.
