The NFL mourns the death of former Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens forward Alex Collins, who died Sunday in a car accident at the age of 28.

The Athletic explains that Collins was on his motorcycle when he collided head-on with the passenger side of the SUV. The former player was declared dead at the scene, while another vehicle was left there to provide assistance.
Collins, it should be noted, left the NFL in 2021. The accident that led to his death is still under investigation.
