More than two hundred firefighters and ten aircraft put out a fire on the northern slope of the Serra de Monchique.

Air vehicles are unloaded every minute, and firefighters hit the ground with hoses and other equipment in the eucalyptus area.
The fire has already been brought under control, CM said, but funds must remain in place as the area is very sensitive.
GNR is already conducting initial investigations to determine the circumstances under which the fire started.
