On Friday morning, a police officer was attacked on Cidade de Omura Street in Sintra. Authorities were called because of a disturbance on a public road. Upon arrival, they were met with violence and the PSP agent was hit in the nose with an elbow.
There was no need for inpatient treatment. The aggressor was detained and will soon be presented to the judge for familiarization with the measures of coercion.
The alarm was issued at 04:50. A few hours earlier, a policewoman had also been attacked on Calle Elias Garcia, next to the Agualva Casem garden.
Around 10:30 pm, a group of 10 people made a lot of noise, so the PSP went to the scene. The woman was hit in the face and taken to the Amadora Sintra hospital.
ABOUT cm discovered that by that time he had already been discharged from the hospital. The suspects fled, so no one was arrested.
