This Wednesday, Braga won 2-1 against the Greeks of Panathinaikos in the first leg of the playoffs for qualification to the Champions League.

At the end of the match, after Rony Lopez conceded a goal in the face of goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli, the Greeks reached the score 2:1 thanks to Daniel Mancini.

With this triumph, “Braga” with the advantage goes to Greece. Artur Jorge’s team could play in the second leg on 29 August and secure their third ever Champions League presence.

If they manage to qualify for the group stage, Minho’s team will join Benfica and Porto in the millionaire competition.
