Russia’s Investigative Committee announced this Sunday that genetic test results confirm the identity of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the ten people who died in a private jet crash this Wednesday on the outskirts of the Russian capital. Moscow, according to Reuters.
The names of the 10 people on board the crashed private jet have already been released by the Russian aviation agency. Among them are Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin, a veteran of Russian special forces and “secret” forces who also founded a mercenary group.
“As part of the investigation of the plane crash in the Tver region, molecular genetic studies have been completed,” the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement, quoted by Reuters.
“Based on its results, the identities of all 10 dead have been established. They correspond to the list indicated on the flight sheet,” he added.
