The Territorial Command of the GNR da Guarda, through the Center for Criminal Investigations, charged a 41-year-old man with alleged aggravated theft on Friday in the municipality of Celorico da Beira.
The GNR statement explained that “as part of an investigation into the thefts in the municipality of Celorico da Beira, the military guards carried out a police action that culminated in the discovery and arrest of the suspect.”
During the action, “three expensive hydraulic systems were discovered in the scrub area of the municipality of Viseu”, while the extracted material was “delivered to its rightful owner”.
The suspect was declared arguido and the facts were forwarded to the Judicial Court of Celorico da Beira in the District of Guarda.
