A man in his 35s was identified by PPR officers early Sunday morning after he brutally kicked a comrade in the head in the village of Grandola.
According to a PNP source, “When the military arrived at the scene, they found the woman lying on the ground, conscious and with several injuries that were thought to be minor.”
After attacking the victim, the man fled in his own car, but with the help of the woman, he was eventually identified by the military.
Firefighters from Grandola took the woman to the Litoral Alentejuno hospital in Santiago do Casem, where she was treated.
The attack took place early in the morning on Sunday, August 27th.
Since this is a domestic violence crime, the case was transferred to the Grandola prosecutor’s office.
