Several ambulances of the urgent medical transport service in Bizkaia sabotaged

A large number of ambulances from the urgent and scheduled medical transport service in Bizkaia have woken up with graffiti, as denounced by the Basque Government Health Department.

Although the damage caused has not prevented the development of the service, the Department of Health has stressed that they have been carried out “with the purpose of making it difficult to provide an essential service to sick and vulnerable people.”

The sabotage occurred this past dawn in the bases that the company providing the service has in Zalla, Muskiz, Getxo, San Ignacio and Barakaldo and has consisted of prick and disable wheel of the ambulances and in the realization of menacing graffiti in the vehicles.
