A 50-year-old worker died yesterday afternoon in a non-traumatic workplace accident in the Guipuzcoan town of Legorreta. The event took place at the Eredu cooperative, part of the MCC group.
According to data provided by LAB, so far this year in Euskal Herria, at least 35 people have died in their workplaces, 14 in non-traumatic accidents. “Non-traumatic accidents, heart attacks, strokes and similar, have become the leading cause of death at work,” the center noted.
LAB has reported this latest work accident and has expressed its condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased.
