A prisoner returned from hemodialysis with 100 grams of the drug in his corpse

A Lisbon prison inmate, who must undergo hemodialysis three times a week, was caught on his return to prison with almost 100 grams of hashish, four doses of heroin and two doses of cocaine hidden in a loaf of bread – a corpse – that he gave birth to at the end of treatment.

The incident occurred on Friday and led to the fact that the detainee, about 40 years old, serving a sentence for drug trafficking, was placed in a punishment cell pending an internal investigation. He himself admitted that this would be the third time he had brought drugs into the prison using this method, suspecting that the drug was delivered by someone close to the clinic located in Saldanha. The situation was reported to the judicial police.
