YouTuber Thiago Eugenio died after 80 days in a coma in a Faro hospital. A 28-year-old man was seriously injured when the car he was traveling in crashed on the A22 in Loule.
A serious accident occurred at the end of June at the 60th kilometer of the Algarve motorway, before the Boliqueim junction, in the direction of Albufeira-Faro. Firefighters had to pull the young man out of the car.
He was treated at the scene and taken to Faro Hospital.
He spent 80 days in intensive care in a coma. He eventually died this Thursday morning. The information was confirmed by the young man’s mother on social networks. He mentions that his son was a “great warrior” and that he “fought for 80 days.”
Thiago Eugenio had more than 160,000 followers on Instagram and was a friend of singer Claudisabelle, who also died in a car accident on the A2 motorway.
The funeral of the young man, who was born in Sant Bras de Alportel, has not yet been scheduled.
