The GNR statement explained that Operation RoadPol – Safety Days aims to raise awareness of road safety, develop road patrol and inspection activities “mainly aimed at monitoring and monitoring the behavior of drivers, with the aim of encouraging them to take more insurance. “
The operation is carried out within the framework of the European Road Policing Network (RoadPol), an organization created by the European Road Police to improve road safety, of which GNR has been a member since the end of 2021.
This year, the GNR has already recorded a total of 58,162 road accidents, resulting in 17,874 minor injuries, 1,335 serious injuries and 300 deaths.
