The Business Confederation of Commerce of Bizkaia, Cecobi, has signed, with the unanimity of all unions, the collective agreement of General Commerce of Bizkaia for the years 2023-2026, which establishes for 2023 an update of 8% of the salary of 2018, the last year in which the agreement was updated. For 2024, 2025 and 2026, an increase of 4%, 3.5% and 2.5% is agreed, as well as a reduction in the working day of 12 hours between 2024 and 2026.
As reported by Cecobi in a statement, the Confederation of Commerce and the union organizations ELA, LAB, UGT and CC. OO. They have signed this Friday the collective agreement of General Commerce of Bizkaia.
The main novelties of the agreement establish a temporal scope that includes the years 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, in which the economic regime differentiates the year 2023 from the period 2024-2026.
In this sense, the Biscayan business confederation has recalled that the collective agreement had not been updated since 2018. Therefore, for the year 2023, the agreement establishes an update of the salary table for the year 2018, considering for these purposes that the variation of the CPI from December of that year until December 2023, which is expected to be around 18%.
