Bizkaia is the historical territory with the most pensions (298,254) ahead of Gipuzkoa (193,783) and Araba (81,605). However, the average pension is higher in Araba (1,505 euros) than in Bizkaia (1,494 euros) and Gipuzkoa (1,453 euros). Compared to September of last year, the average pension has increased in the three territories: 9.48% in Araba, 9.59% in Gipuzkoa and 9.41% in Bizkaia.
In NavarreFor its part, 143,001 contributory pensions have been counted, 1.47% more than in September of the previous year. The average pension in Navarra has remained at 1,373.51 euros, 9.53% more compared to September of the previous year.
As regards the Spanish state, the ordinary monthly payroll of contributory pensions has reached the record figure of 12,051.4 million euros in September, 10.9% more than in the same month of 2022. In addition, 10,073,434 contributory pensions have been paid in September.
