Polish experts confirm that the missile that hit the country and killed two people was Ukrainian

Polish experts confirmed Tuesday that the S 300 5-W-55 anti-aircraft missile that killed two people at a grain factory in southern Poland in November was launched by Ukraine, the daily Rzeczpospolita reported.

“The missile has a range of 75 to 90 km,” the newspaper said, as quoted by Reuters, adding that “at that time, the Russian positions were in a place from where no Russian missile could reach Przewodow.”

A rocket explosion in NATO member Poland has fueled fears that the war in Ukraine could escalate into conflict, according to Reuters. At the time, Warsaw and NATO said they believed it was a Ukrainian missile, easing fears of an escalation of the war.

Let us recall that Ukraine denied the fact that one of its missiles fell on Polish territory.
