The confessed author of a stabbing that led to the death of a British man in Pedrogan Grande will be placed in preventive detention.
The detainee was one of the organizers of the festival, where the terrible game “Blue Whale” was played on the night from Saturday to Sunday, encouraging young people to self-harm and commit suicide.
According to the Judicial Police (JP), the man took the victim to the forest where he attacked her with a knife in several parts of her body, leading to her death.
“After committing the murder, the suspect hid the corpse using tree branches and items of clothing,” the SP said in the same note.
Early on Sunday morning, a group of friends of the deceased victim, all British citizens, went to the GNR station in Figueiro dos Vinhos to report that the man was dead. Upon arrival, authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The motive for the crime is still unknown, but, according to the joint venture, “Any connection to online games or tasks will be excluded.”
