Former BPP administrator sentenced to six years in prison

The Public Security Police (PSP) detained former Banco Privado Português (BPP) administrator Fernando Lima on Friday evening, according to a report. observer.

“The Setubal District PSP, through the Criminal Investigations Unit of the Setúbal Police Department, arrested today at 20:50 a 53-year-old man executing an arrest warrant and sentenced to six years in prison,” you can read in the PSP statement.

The police statement also said that the arrest warrant “arises from a final and non-appealable case that took place in the Lisbon District Judicial Court – Lisbon Central Criminal Court, in which the accused was found guilty of the crimes of breach of trust, money laundering and tax fraud.”
