The Provincial Court of Luanda overturned the relegation penalty imposed on Cabuscorp do Palanca by the Jurisdictional Council of the Angolan Football Federation (FPF), following a precautionary measure presented by the club.
An Angolan club that returns to participate in the Girabola and Taca de Angola competitions must, within thirty days, submit the main claim to the above-mentioned court, under penalty of reversal of the decision.
The Angolan court also decriminalized the aforementioned club’s president, Bento Kangamba, who was sanctioned for four years.
The punishment, applied first by the disciplinary council and then upheld by the jurisdictional council of the same body, came after an audio recording was published on social networks in June in which Académica do Lobito coach Agostinho Tramagal mentioned that he had received money from Petro de Luanda and Cabuscorp had falsified results, while 1. de Agosto tried to bribe his team with seven million kwanzaas for the same reason.
