According to the Israeli Embassy in Portugal, four Israelis with Portuguese citizenship were kidnapped by Hamas during the October 7 attack on Israel.
In accordance with CNN PortugalPortuguese-Israeli hostages Moshe Sadyaan, 26, Gilad Bem Yehuda, 28, Idan Shtivi, 28, and Orin Bira, 53.
According to the Israeli Embassy, quoted by CNN PortugalAnother Israeli citizen with a Portuguese passport was injured during the attacks. Menachem Hillel Ben Khalifa is 22 years old and hospitalized at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
The Hamas attack also killed two Portuguese-Israelis. Roten Neumann, 25, was studying in Tel Aviv and was found dead on Tuesday. Another young woman, 22-year-old Doreen Atlas, went missing in Israel after the attack and was found dead on Wednesday.
