Two young foreigners, aged 19 and 22, were detained by the judicial police on suspicion of two attempted murders in the context of gang rivalries and clashes on the Sintra Line. The crime was dated March 10 this year.
According to the judicial police, the detainees fired several shots in a square adjacent to the Queluz railway station and wounded two people, aged 19 and 21, who were passing through the area at the same time. The victims’ lives were at risk.
“The detainees attended a judicial interrogation at the District Court of Lisbon Oeste Sintra, where preventive detention for the oldest and daily presentations for the youngest were used as coercive measures,” the department said in a statement.
