Marco Oliveira, Marcio Faraco and Hugo Arán make up the trio of singer-songwriters for the project Cada Um Canta Uma, which was born out of a creative residency held in Girona this May. They will take the stage for a showcase on October 19 at Exib Música in Setubal and on October 21 in Lisbon, in the late afternoon, for a concert at the Museu do Oriente.
In 2021, Marco Oliveira released his third album, Ruas e Memórias, which was the last work of José Mario Branco created in the studio. It is mainly in Fado that he finds a way to express his music.
Marcio Faraco is a Brazilian composer who has worked extensively with MPB. In his discography, he worked with Chico Buarque on the album Ciranda and with Milton Nascimento on the song Cidade Miniatura from the album Um Rio.
Hugo Arana has an extensive body of work in Spanish music, including Mediterranean, South American and African influences, but Brazilian rhythms have always attracted the Barcelona-based musician.
The voices and guitars of the three composers combine Portuguese, Brazilian and Mediterranean rhythms.
