By 7:00 pm on Thursday, 3,251 people had already registered on the public employment portal (www.empregopublico.gov.pt), an official ministry source told Lusa.
The competitive procedure will open shortly after the publication of the announcement in the Diário da República, but interested parties were able to pre-register, the same source explained.
The remuneration of a senior technical specialist for joining the public administration is currently 1333.35 euros gross, but next year, that is, at the time of entry of candidates, it will be 1385.99 euros, taking into account the salary update provided by the government.
In order to rejuvenate and expand the capabilities of public administration, “a centralized competitive procedure will be carried out annually in accordance with the needs identified by the services, with the aim of attracting qualified human resources and activating technical personnel of public administration,” the statement said. office in the statement.
The procedure allows you to create personnel reserves for certain professional profiles in all areas of public administration.
In the case of the 2023 competition, reserves include legal, economic, financial, asset management and planning, control and evaluation of public policy areas.
The application will be submitted exclusively online, on the “Public Employment” portal, which will allow interested persons, by submitting one application, to apply for several jobs in different bodies and services, the ministry explains.
“The personnel reserve can be used to hire workers under an employment contract for government positions, for an indefinite period or for a specific period, provided that the candidates express their willingness to take these positions,” the note can also be read.
