A young man who escaped after being killed in a car surrendered to the PSP in Povoa de Varzim.

The driver of the car that fled on the 10th after hitting a 21-year-old man in Povoa de Varzim surrendered to the PSP police in Povoa this week. The victim did not survive the severity of his injuries and died in hospital a few days later.

Dulwani Teixeira was riding on the side of the Estrada Nacional 206 in Argivai with a bicycle in his hand when he was hit by a car. The driver did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. Dulwani was taken in very serious condition to the São João Hospital in Porto, where he died. The CM is aware that the 23-year-old driver surrendered to PSP along with his father. The agents listened to him, and the case was transferred to the Department of Justice. You may be charged with negligent homicide and failure to provide assistance.
