A notice to users was posted by CHBM on its Facebook page.
In the same notice, the hospital department informs users that they should call SNS 24 (808242424) or 112 in case of emergency before going to the hospital.
On the other hand, he adds that, if necessary, they can go to the emergency department at the San Bernardo Hospital in Setúbal and the García de Orta Hospital in Almada.
However, Almada Hospital announced Monday that its pediatric emergency department will be closed starting Wednesday nights from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
In a statement, the García de Orta Hospital explained that the nightly closure of the pediatric emergency department was due to the inability to provide adequate medical shifts after submitting statements of unwillingness to work overtime beyond the legal limit.
Day care, according to the hospital department, continues every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday, and the neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit will continue to operate uninterrupted.
