A 16-year-old boy has been missing since Monday in Porto Alto, Zamora Correia. Afonso, known as “Fonfon”, left home to go to school and was never seen again.
The family found the young man’s absence strange and called the school, where they reported that he did not go to class that day.
The disappearance was reported to the authorities and a search began.
The search for the young man extended to the Sorraia and Almansor rivers. Firefighters were mobilized for the operation from 11 a.m. after police received information about their possible whereabouts, he confirmed. CM official source GNR.
